Abstract

Nowadays it is predicted that achievement is unavoidable for those institutions that can understand their target audience and lead their processes by target audience’s needs and requirements. Thus all the institutions’ functions are for their target audience. Besides human makes the final decision on the products and services presented by the institution. At this point one of the first step should be to determine the key elements for providing the human oriented management process and act toward these key elements. Archives as institutions that provide information should adopt the user oriented approach to their business processes and determine the key elements for providing the user oriented management process. In this context, this study emphasizes the “research environment” which is determined as one of the fundamental elements of the user oriented archival services and the key features of an user oriented research area are being presented.
