About the Journal

Information World or the other name in Türkish "Bilgi Dünyası" has been published every six months (June and December) as an international refereed journal since 2000.

The journal has been listed in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory since 2002. Bilgi Dünyası is an open-access journal. The journal is indexed in Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA), EBSCO Host, SCOPUS, DOAJ, and TR Dizin.

The editor-in-chief of the journal is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semanur Öztemiz from Hacettepe University Department of Information Management.
