Abstract

The aim of this study is to report on the educational and instructional programmes of the librarianship off ered by Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Zoology and Botanics Institutes (Biology Institute) following the 1933 University Reform. In the course of history explanations, the contributions of exiledl German and Austrian scientists as well as the Turkish scientists, and also librarians who were involved in the undertaking were also mentioned.
